NGOYE beach Kribi

Ngoye beach is the most frequented beach in Kribi. It is located at the entrance to Kribi town. Ngoye is a place of great entertainment. You can participate in a beach soccer game, dive or jump the waves or simply go on a wander along the shore. There are many spots to sit and enjoy roasted fish or drink some beers. Many jewelry sellers and handicraftmen propose a rich and varied range of items for souvenirs. Many fishermen also do sell fresh fish.

Grand Batanga beach

Bongahèlè est un petit village de pêcheurs situé à environ 10 km du centre-ville de Kribi. Il forme avec Luma la localité de «Grand Batanga». Le village est connu pour ses plages paradisiaques, aussi que par son histoire et sa culture.

De manière générale, Bongahèlè peut être considéré comme la capitale culturelle des peuples Ndowè qui sont aujourd’hui plus connus par la terminologie Batanga (Banôhô, Bapuku, Batanga Ba Nda…).

L’ensemble de ces peuples reconnait en ce village, une certaine authenticité dans la célébration des rituels typiques et propres aux peuples de la côte.

Les plages de Grand Batanga sont singulières comparées à celles de sa voisine Kribi. Ses plages sont des petites parcelles aménagées par les pécheurs locaux pour la détente et les activités gastronomiques comme les grillades de poissons et fruits de mer capturés sur place.

Des visites culturelles dans le village et au musée de Luma, des parties de pêche artisanale et des promenades sportives jusqu’aux chutes de la Lobe sont aussi des activités proposées aux touristes et visiteurs.

LOBE FALLS

Lobe Falls are a unique in the whole world.  Located some 7 km away to Kribi town on the road to the Kribi Deep Sea Port.
River Lobe (rich with shrimps) falls directly into the Atlantic Ocean in a cascading style.
Lobe falls beach is a nice spot to swim and jump the waves. Also possible are beach volley and beach soccer.
The menu is much more of roasted shrimps with fried plantain and potatoe. With beers of course !
Embark on a canoe to go see the falls closer while sipping your fresh coconut juice.

LONDJI Beach

Londji is a fishermen’s village located some 15 km away from Kribi.
It is the most important fish market in the Ocean division of the South region of Cameroon. Wednesday and Saturday are the market days.
Londji is rich in nature and beautiful white sand beaches, with some important rocks here and there. Here, a walk along the shore will take you the Woermann monument and to the mangrove with its tranquility and cold water.
You can also go sight-see the fishermen camp and immerse yourself in their survival life style. You can eat roasted fish and drink some beer while observing the sea.
